You are welcome to join us as we celebrate the life of our beloved friend, Brian Fair.

Time: 11AM-12:30PM (refreshments served after)

Location: Lagan Valley Vineyard Church (Altona Business Park, Altona Rd, Lisburn, BT27 5QB)

Brian was incredibly loved by every community he was a part of. We are expecting the turn out for his celebration of life to be big. In order to help accomodate every guest, we wanted to highlight some practical details for the day.

CELEBRATION

The celebration service will begin at 11AM and will last for just over 1 hour. Brian’s family have asked that guests wear colour to remember and celebrate his life joyfully! If you are unable to attend the event in person, you can watch our livestream here.

Please note that if our livestream is unavailable at any point, our team will do what we can to restore the stream. If it does not work, a recording of the event will be available to view after the service ends. 

PARKING

Please be aware that parking directly at the Lagan Valley Vineyard church venue will be unavailable as we are reserving parking space for immediate family, as well as providing an outdoor standing area for guest overflow. Our parking attendants will best advise you where to park on the day. If you are able, give yourself plenty of time to arrive at and leave the venue, carpool with friends who are attending, or park in Lisburn city centre and walk to the venue (approx. a 15 minute walk).

SEATING

There is limited seating available in the Lagan Valley Vineyard church venue. To accommodate this as best we can, we will have several indoor overflow rooms with a livestream of the event available. We do advise that you arrive early and organise ahead of time with friends/family who you would like to sit with. However, please be aware that we cannot guarantee you will get a seat. Our Venue and indoor overflow rooms will be filled on a first come, first serve basis (not including prearranged reserved seating for the family and their invited friends).  There will be standing outdoor space for guests once our main venue reaches capacity where an audio stream of the celebration will be played. 

REFRESHMENTS

Immediately following the celebration service, the family will leave for a private burial service, but will return shortly after. You are welcome to join us for light refreshments in the Venue. There will be several refreshment stations throughout the Venue. Please listen to your room host for details on where your closest station is. Once you have received your refreshment, we ask that you return to your seat or head outside to enjoy. This will help us make sure everyone is served.

COMFORT

As we are expecting a large number of guests to be in attendance, our venue will be a crowded place for the majority of the day. The weather is forecasted to be dry and sunny. This may mean our indoor spaces feel warm, even with ventilation in place. If you find yourself standing outside, we cannot guarantee shade protection. While water will be readily available, you may want to bring a water bottle to keep yourself hydrated and wear sunscreen in case you are outdoors. Our hosting team will be available for any emergencies or accommodations that arise on the day.
