SUMMARY:CAP Money Course
DESCRIPTION:CAP Money is a free course that will teach you budgeting skills and a simple\, cash-based system that works. In just a few weeks\, you will get to grips with your finances so you can budget\, save\, and prevent debt! This course will be taking place at the Hillhall Youth Centre in Lisburn.\nThis is happening over three Thursday nights in-person:  20\, 27 April and 4 May. \nThe course will be led by Davey and Heather Morrow and some friends from Lagan Valley Vineyard Church. It is in partnership with local churches and the community. We would love you to join us! \nAttending all three nights gives you the free full course\, a booklet\, and all online resources. This is all free and given to you at the start of your course. We can give you support by phone as you need and even provide tech if you need it. You will never be asked to disclose or share anything about your finances. Your financial history remains personal and private. We simply share with you the tools you can use for yourself! \nSign Up HERE\n  \nIs the CAP Money Course for me?\nWhether you feel pretty organised or like it’s a lucky dip every time you try to withdraw cash from your account\, the CAP Money Course will help you take complete control of your finances. There are extra resources for those on low incomes\, self-employed people\, couples\, families\, and those preparing for retirement. Whoever you are\, the CAP Money Course will be relevant to you! \nWhat should I expect?\nThe CAP Money Course is run by churches that partner with Christians Against Poverty. The course will run over three evenings. Some are run from the church building\, but might also take place in cafes or other public settings. The number of people attending can range from two to 20.  \nIs CAP just for Christians?\nNo! CAP will help anyone regardless of their religious beliefs. We monitor our services to ensure that everybody receives the same caring service regardless of race\, nationality\, religion\, age\, gender\, marital status\, sexual orientation\, or disability. \nDoes it cost anything?\nNo. This course is completely free – CAP is a charity and receives donations from churches and individuals who want to help people. \nSign up here for this event and we will contact you with more information!
