A chance to join in with some activities – inside at tables or outside in the garden. We’ll also have a prayer space set up for quiet reflection. \nWe hope this Quiet Space will create an opportunity to connect with people from our community or just be in the room alongside others. We want this shared room to be a place where everyone feels welcome. DESCRIPTION:The ‘COOK IT’ course is for you if you  want to enhance your cooking skills and are interested in healthier eating\, especially where cost is a concern. \nIt is delivered by our LVV tutor Marina in Ukrainian language. Maryna has completed  training held by Public Health Dieticians. \nIt is delivered over 6 sessions beginning on Sunday 22nd February at 2:30PM. Each session is 2 hours long\, covering a different topic each time. Each week\, as well as hands on practical food prep and cooking\, the participants will be improving their knowledge of healthier choices and food safety. There will be group participation\, games\, and an opportunity at the end of the session to eat together or takeaway what we have cooked that day. \nWe ask you to help Marina to clean up the dishes and the kitchen at the end of each session\, please allow additional 30 minutes here.  \nSign up for this free course here!

DESCRIPTION:Sometimes life can feel really noisy and busy. \nWe’re creating a Quiet Space on Wednesday mornings. It will give us an opportunity to pause. A chance to join in with some activities – inside at tables or outside in the garden. We’ll also have a prayer space set up for quiet reflection. \nWe hope this Quiet Space will create an opportunity to connect with people from our community or just be in the room alongside others. We want this shared room to be a place where everyone feels welcome. Our desire is to provide a little bit of peace and the chance to connect with others in the middle of a busy week.  \nIf you feel this space is for you\, at any time\, you are welcome to come along to Quiet Space on Wednesday mornings from 10AM to 12PM in our Venue.

DESCRIPTION:“Be still and know that He is God.”\nPsalm 46:10 \nWe are creating space for an hour of Centering Prayer in Common Space. \nCentering Prayer is a silent form of prayer that prepares us to experience the presence and action of God. DESCRIPTION:All Nations is a meal for anyone who has moved to the Lagan Valley area from another nation\, including Ukraine\, Syria\, Afghanistan\, Africa\, the Philippines – every nation is welcome!  \nWe will share food and give thanks with grateful hearts for new friends\, homes\, safety\, family\, and community.  \nThere will be a table of shared food and conversation. A warm welcome and place to feel at home. If you like to cook or share food\, please bring a dish with you. If you like to eat\, then just come to eat and enjoy with new friends. \nThis meal is free.  You can also bring a food box with you to take home some new food from other nations!  \nThis All Nations Meal is in Lagan Valley Vineyard Church on Sunday 18th January at 2PM. \nPlease sign up below to let us know you are coming and tell us helpful information about dietary needs.
