Any organisation can become a Safe Place.\nThe Awareness information is short and helpful and can be watched by webinar in your own home. \nBook HERE\nAs a Church\, LVV are a ‘Safe Place’ where anyone affected by domestic abuse can confidentially access information on the range of support services available to them. We feel the best way to do that is together! During this service\, there will be a kids’ ministry offering called Big Party. \n\nBig Party will be for children in P1 – P7\, where our experienced team will take them through a fun-filled program for the second half of our 9:30AM & 11AM services. For now\, our Little Party room will continue to be used as our Family Space at any time during the service for babies\, toddlers\, & parents. We hope to have a program for our littlest ones very soon! \nAs our turnaround time between services is quite tight\, we ask that all parents and carers exit the building immediately following the service to collect their children from the outer door of the Big Party room. There will be signage and volunteers to help guide you!  \n\n \nSIGN UP HERE. \n \nWhen you are signing you & your family up for a church service\, please ensure that you assign each individual the relevant ticket for our admin purposes.\nAs we are still operating with COVID restrictions\, we would ask that you follow our guidelines when you are with us in the Venue. There may even be a sweet Christmas treat for you to enjoy as well! DESCRIPTION:LVV YOUTH X PRISON ISLAND \nWe wanted to do something a little different this term and have decided to rent out the entire game space over at Prison Island. The aim of the game is to work together in your teams to score as many points as you can in the hour. And as hard.”  Eugene Peterson \nWhat would it look like for us to no longer keep our bibles at arms length\, but instead like eating food\, read in order to live?  \nSo often we can get stuck on whether we should read the bible or not\, when in fact the question of how we read the bible is of utmost importance. In this session\, Stu will unpack how we can learn to read the bible well so that we let it work on us\, forming our imaginations and intentions. We will be introduced to an ancient way of spiritual reading\, Lectio Divina\, which invites us to encounter Jesus through His Word everyday\, before taking time to consider how we deal with the tricky parts of Scripture – for it is in our wrestling that we can experience transformation. \nSign Up HERE

DESCRIPTION:‘Speak up for those who cannot speak up for themselves.’\nProverbs 31:8 \nThe COP26 Day of Action in Belfast is taking place on Saturday 6 November from 11AM.  On this day\, people across the UK and the world will join marches and events to speak out against the injustice of the climate crisis. At the mid-point of the two-week UN climate talks\, COP26\, we’re calling on the Prime Minister and other world leaders to take strong and transformative actions. \nIn Northern Ireland\,  people will gather at 11am with prayer at Central Church\, May Street Presbyterian with Evangelical Alliance\, 24/7 Prayer\, and Christian Aid. After praying\, there will be the option to walk down together to Corn Market to join the Belfast march calling on world leaders at the UN Climate Talks to make bold decisions that will protect people living in poverty around the world. \nThis event is happening in partnership with Tearfund. DESCRIPTION:If you call Lagan Valley Vineyard home\, we would love to invite you along to a Family Meeting at the end of August.\nAs we emerge from the most disruptive year and half we have faced and look expectantly into the next chapter in the story of our church\, we want to gather the LVV family for an evening of worship\, prayer\, and the opportunity to hear from our leaders around the shape of things to come.  \nAs the seasons turn from summer to autumn and as we look ahead to the next term of church life\, we want to share with you our plans and dreams as we seek to follow Jesus\, together.  \nAndy and our senior leadership team recognise this past year has not been an easy time to navigate. They would like to set some time aside to address some of the things that our church family feel are important to talk about. We would therefore love for you to use this form to submit any questions or topics you would like us to address in our family meeting. We cannot promise we will be able to cover everything\, but we will do our best! \nWe are hosting Family Meetings on the evenings of Sunday 22nd and Monday 23rd August in the church venue.  If you cannot attend our meetings\, you can sign up with the option to receive a recording.
