Cambodia is one of the most beautiful countries on the planet. Behind its beauty there is a much darker story of a nation torn apart by a cruel dictatorship which resulted in a missing generation of people, nationwide poverty and where there is poverty there are is an opportunity for the exploitation of people profit, what we call Human Trafficking.
But within this backdrop there is always hope, God is alive and well and moving.
On this Tribe Tour we will be going to celebrate the work that is happening, to champion the people who are on the ground day in day out inspiring Hope and seeing the Kingdom come. The big question this Tribe Tour will ask of themselves is “Now that I have seen this, what can my life look like to be part of the solution”
We will be on the ground in Cambodia for roughly 2 weeks primarily based in Phnom Penh. We will connect with numerous organisations working in the vast spectrum that is the fight against Human Trafficking and creating systemic change for a Nation.
This time away aims to be a launchpad into a lifetime of pursuing an end to Human Trafficking and the exploitation of people for profit.

When you think of Denmark, many of us imagine Vikings, bacon, cinnamon buns and Hans Christian Anderson (author of the Little Mermaid). Denmark is a rich and prosperous country, but one in which most of the population have little time or desire for God.
We will be joining with a Vineyard church in the 3rd biggest city in Denmark called Odense, and possibly sometime in the capital Copenhagen. The team will involve a lot of work with university students, aiding the local community, supporting the church and possibly linking in the churches work with issues of human trafficking within the local sex industry. Because of the work, team members would have to be 18 or over by the leaving date.

Pond Park Community Festival
This week-long community event has been an amazing experience and place of serving for so many from LVV in recent years working alongside Finch Community group. It runs every evening of a week in late July each year with events for children and families during the daytime. It is a fun-filled community engagement program that attracts some 300 participants and which takes place in the Pond Park estate. It is a wonderful opportunity to serve the City and to get to know local families from this area. We need a volunteer team to commit to serve at least 2-3 evenings of the festival. You will receive training and support as part of this team.
